How do I configure Eudora Light 3.0 for Domain E-mail?

Why do I need Eudora?

  • Eudora is a good program that is useful for sending messages, receiving messages, and transferring files to other internet users.

How do I use Eudora?

  • In Eudora from the Tools Menu select Options and then follow the steps below to set Eudora up for sending and receiving.

Category: Getting Started

  1. POP account - You will need to get the address of your internet providers mail server first. Once you have the address you will put your userID@mail server in this field. UserID being the name you selected to use when you first signed on. (i.e. johndoe@mail.yourcompany.com)
  2. Real name - This is where you put your name.
  3. Connection Method - This will usually be set to Winsock because you are calling in on a PPP or SLIP connection.

The following Screen Capture gives an example of the locations where you will enter 1. POP account, 2. Real name, and 3. Connection Method.
