Overview:
The following document will assist you in getting started with BulletProof
FTP. This program is available on the Complete Internet Access
Kit, or is available to download from http://www.bpftp.com.
For installation instructions, please review the 3rd Pary Applications
insert that is included with your Allstream CD.
Getting Started:
1. Once you have
BulletProof FTP installed, simply start it by going to your Start Menu
- Programs, BulletProof FTP. You have 30 days to evaluate the software.
You can choose to register it at any time. Click OK to begin using BulletProof
FTP.
2. In the Host
field, enter the name of the computer you wish to connect to. This
may be your website, an ftp server or other computer on the Internet.
If you are required to login to the server to send or receive files,
please enter your username and password in the appropriate fields. If you
can connect annonymously, please enter the Login anonymous,
and your email address in the Pass field.
3. Navigate to the directory on your local computer where the files you would like to upload are stored. Your local computer is displayed in the window on the LEFT. Navigate to the directory on the remote computer where you would like your files to be uploaded to. The remote computer is displayed in the window on the RIGHT.
4. Highlight all the files you would like to upload in the window on the LEFT. You can now drag these files to the bottom window. This is the Queued Files window. Once you have selected all appropriate files, you can then click the green GO button to begin the transfer.
