Managed Enterprise Support consists of Application and Database Management, Service Desk, Desktop Support and Third-Party Management. All supported servers and infrastructure can be hosted either on Allstream premises or can reside on your premises, depending on your requirements and preferences.

Features

  • Service Desks are established as the single point of user contact for assistance and problem reporting. Allstream provides bilingual service desk capabilities, tailored to meet your specific requirements. Service desk personnel are trained in the applications and technologies within the scope of the support engagement. Handoff processes to other levels of support are customized to align with support organization and escalation requirements. Contact with an Allstream staffed service desk is usually provided through telephone or e mail access. At your request, access to the service desk can also be provided through other means such as web chat. Your personnel can also gain access to a “frequently asked questions” database for documented solutions to common inquiries or problems.
  • Third-Party Management. Most IT organizations rely on a number of third parties to provide support services, particularly hardware and software support. Allstream can manage these vendors on your behalf. Services include: management of service contracts; launching and monitoring third party service requests; escalation management; and coordination of service activities.
